Several passengers were injured on Sunday following a collision between a container truck and an 18-seater commercial bus on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The accident, which caused panic among road users, reportedly occurred shortly after the Berger Bridge axis while outbound from Lagos.
A video shared on social media showed passersby rushing to the scene to assist the victims, helping to evacuate injured passengers as they awaited the arrival of emergency responders.
As of the time of reporting, the exact number of casualties had not been confirmed, while the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
The incident led to traffic congestion along the affected section of the expressway, with motorists slowing down to navigate past the accident scene.
