Veteran Nollywood Yoruba actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known Ogogo, has lost the battle to cancer.
Ogogo’s daughter, Kira Taiwo, announced the actor’s death via a live session on her Instagram page on Sunday, August 23, 2026.
The actor’s demise came a few days after his daughter announced he was battling stage four cancer.
Before the development, there were efforts to offer him quality treatment with reports revealing that the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Senator Solomon Adeola, fondly called Yayi, offered financial backing for his treatment.
