The Lagos State Government has sealed 12 establishments in Ogba, Idimu-Ikota, Ejigbo, LASU-Iba Road, Igando, and Agodo-Egbe areas of the state over persistent violations of environmental regulations.

The government said the establishments were sealed despite repeated warnings, abatement notices, and several opportunities granted to facilitate compliance with the directives issued by the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA).

LASEPA, in a statement issued on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, said the enforcement exercise was carried out on Tuesday in line with the directives of the Lagos State Government to ensure strict adherence to environmental laws, safeguard public health and promote a cleaner, healthier and safer environment for residents.

LASEPA noted that the affected establishments were found to have contravened various environmental regulations and failed to implement prescribed corrective measures or comply with directives issued by the agency.

Speaking on the enforcement operation, the General Manager of LASEPA, Dr. Babatunde Ajayi, reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to protecting public health and preserving the environment through sustained monitoring, regulatory compliance and effective enforcement of environmental standards across Lagos State.

Ajayi stressed that environmental compliance is a collective responsibility, noting that LASEPA would continue to intensify enforcement actions against individuals, businesses, religious organisations, and corporate bodies whose activities pose risks to the environment, public health and the wellbeing of Lagos residents.

He urged business owners, facility operators, religious institutions, scrap dealers and residents across Lagos State to embrace environmentally responsible practices, obtain all necessary permits and approvals, comply fully with applicable environmental regulations, and cooperate with LASEPA in its efforts to build “a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable Lagos.”

The establishments sealed include:

  1. Thrillz Lounge, located on Odusanmi Street, Ogba, was sealed for noise pollution and non-compliance with the Agency’s directives.
  2. Feixiang Plastic, located along LASU-Ojo Road, Oko Filling Bus Stop, was sealed for non-compliance with the Agency’s directives.
  3. Marvel Hotel & Suites, located at Chrisbee Crescent, BRT Bus Stop, Igando, was sealed for noise pollution and non-compliance with the Agency’s directives.
  4. Keviz Hotel & Suites, located on Councilor Ajayi Street, Obadore Bus Stop, LASU-Iba Road, was sealed for obstruction of duty and non-compliance with the Agency’s directives.
  5. DSN Hotel & Suites, located on Benson Onyeacholen Street, O’Mark Bus Stop, LASU-Igando Road, was sealed for non-compliance with the Agency’s directives.
  6. Rudaj Vegetable Oil, located on Tanimowo Street, Ologufe Bus Stop, Igando Road, was sealed for non-compliance with the Agency’s directives.
  7. Celestial Church of Christ (Aduragbemi Parish), located on Adetola Buhari Street, Okerube Bus Stop, Ikotun, was sealed for noise pollution and non-compliance with the Agency’s directives.
  8. Limas, located on Aro-Oloye Street, off Abaranje Road, Abaranje, Ikotun, was sealed for non-compliance with the Agency’s directives.
  9. Nico Hotel & Suites, located at Ayawo Close, NEPA Bus Stop, Egbe-Isolo Road, Ejigbo, was sealed for non-compliance with the Agency’s directives.
  10. 10Kobo Night Club, located on Abanishe Street, off Hostel Road, Agodo-Egbe, was sealed for noise pollution and non-compliance with the Agency’s directives.
  11. Master Furniture, located on Coleman Street, Pao Bus Stop, Idimu-Ikota Road, was sealed for non-compliance with the Agency’s directives.
  12. Nikky’s Executive Bar & Lounge, located on Governor’s Road, Ikotun, was sealed for non-compliance with the Agency’s directives.
