Abducted NYSC prospective corps members released in Imo

Prospective National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members abducted in Imo State have been released.

The Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, confirmed the release during a telephone conversation with the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, at about 5pm on Wednesday.

The development was contained in a statement issued by Adeola Oloko, Media Aide to the Olubadan.

The statement, released on Wednesday, gave no details on the circumstances surrounding the abduction or how the prospective corps members regained their freedom.

Further details on the number of victims and their condition were not immediately disclosed.
