Adeleke wins polling unit with 421 votes

Osun State Governor and Accord Party governorship candidate, Ademola Adeleke, has won his polling unit in the ongoing governorship election.

Adeleke polled 421 votes at Polling Unit 009, Abogunde/Sagba, in Ede North Local Government Area.

The results announced by the Presiding Officer, Adebimpe Susan Dunsin, showed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, secured 29 votes, while the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate, Najeem Salaam, scored one vote.

A total of 457 voters cast their ballots out of the 1,082 registered voters at the polling unit when voting ended at about 4:15 p.m.
