Again, gunmen strike in Ondo, kill 6

Gunmen suspected to be bandits have killed no fewer than six persons at Sabo Area of Ondo town, Ondo State.

It was gathered that the assailants also robbed some residents of the area during the attack which occurred on Wednesday night.

The incident was confirmed by the Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, Funmilayo Odunlami, noting that efforts were ongoing to nab the gunmen.

Odunlami, however, said the incident was a robbery case.

The incident is coming barely a few days after terrorists killed many worshippers in an attack on St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, the headquarters of Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State last Sunday.
