Terrorists have killed one person and abducted no fewer than eight others in an attack on Banono Angwaku community in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
It was gathered that one person was also injured in the attack which occurred at about 10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.
The deceased was identified as Christopher Zamani, while the eight kidnapped victims were Kauna Fidelis, Tina Bulus, Alice Joshua, Sarah Micah, Janet Amos, Martha Peter, Rita Joefrey, and Favour Ado.
A resident of the area, Dauda Manyu, on Thursday, disclosed that the terrorists also stole money, two motorcycles, food items, and other valuables during the attack.

Manyu said no contact has been established with the families of the abductees.
The Kaduna State Police Command has however yet to speak on the incident as of press time.
The latest attack came barely 48 hours after terrorists abducted 61 locals in Buda community in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Gunmen suspected to be bandits, on March 7, also kidnapped the students of Government Secondary School (GSS) Kuriga in Gwagwada District, Chikun LGA of the state.
Kajuru and Chikun Local Government Areas had in recent two weeks become the hotbed of kidnapping, causing tension in Kaduna State.
