Airtel Africa says its Nigerian subsidiary, Airtel Networks Limited (Airtel Nigeria), has made a payment of NGN58.7 billion to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to renew its 2×10 MHz 2100 MHz spectrum licence.
Airtel, in a statement made available to The Star on Wednesday, May 10, noted that the spectrum, when renewed, will be valid for a period of 15 years.
