Ambassadorial nomination: Omokri hails Tinubu, commits to serving Nigeria

Former presidential aide and social commentator, Oritsebemigho Ogbareno Omokri, has expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following his recent nomination for a national role, describing the President as a symbol of forgiveness, patriotism, and exemplary leadership.

In a statement on Sunday, Omokri said he was “deeply thankful to God Almighty” for the recognition and committed himself to serving Nigeria and humanity.

He praised President Tinubu for what he called Christlike attributes and urged Nigerians to extend support to his administration.

“Christlikeness is demonstrated in him. He is the right man, at the right time, for the right job, and deserves the right hand of fellowship from all Nigerians,” Omokri said.

Omokri also acknowledged the influence of his parents, Esijolomi and Omerewumi, who he said shaped his values and character.

He offered special appreciation to the National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, describing him as a man whose goodness is unmatched.

“If it were possible for all the goodness on Earth to be domiciled in a single human being, that person would be Malam,” he stated.

He further paid tribute to his wife, Hana, whom he credited for being a strong emotional anchor during challenging periods, especially when he faced hostility from critics because of his support for President Tinubu.

Omokri ended the statement with a prayer for Nigeria’s unity, peace and progress, reaffirming his loyalty to the country.

“May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” he said.
