Anambra woman beats maid to death, buries body in bush

A yet-to-be-identified woman has been arrested by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) for beating her maid to death in Anambra State.

It was gathered that the woman, who confessed to the crime, took the NAPTIP officials to the bush where she buried the maid.

Revealing how she killed the maid, the woman said: “I beat her and she started convulsing so I took her to Kings hospital. Getting there, she died, so I threw her body here.”

A viral picture and video on social media further showed the maid’s already decomposing body.

Meanwhile, the Anambra State Police Command has yet to react to the incident as of the time of filing this report.
