The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, has inaugurated a nine-member committee to resolve the feud between Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, and his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
Akeredolu has been in a frosty relationship after he returned to Nigeria following a medical treatment abroad.
The governor, after his return, sacked the media aides attached to Ayedatiwa’s office.
The Ondo State House of Assembly has also begun impeachment proceedings against the deputy governor.
However, the APC chairman while inaugurating the ‘reconciliation committee’ for Ondo State, on Friday, October 6, 2023, said their terms of reference include “To interface and engage with all contending partner(s) with a view to gathering facts and circumstances surrounding the lingering impeachment process of the deputy governor.
