The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has appointed Dr Don Pedro Obaseki as Media Presidential Consultant and Dan Ulasi as Technical Adviser on Contact and Mobilisation (South-East).
This was made known via a statement issued on Sunday by his Media Adviser, Paul Ibe.
Ibe stated that the appointments were with immediate effect.
He described Ulasi, who hails from Anambra State, as an experienced politician who had served PDP in different capacities, both in Anambra and at the party’s national secretariat.
He noted that Pedro is a seasoned media personality from Edo State with rich experience in political communication.

Meanwhile, Atiku, on Sunday night, arrived in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital ahead of today’s official commencement of his presidential campaign.
Atiku was received by the chairman of the party’s presidential campaign council, and Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel.
Others for the commencement of the campaign were his running mate and Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa; the campaign Director-General and Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal; and many other party chieftains.
