Atiku appoints Ologbondiyan as campaign spokesman

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has appointed a former National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Kolawole Ologbondiyan, as one of his spokespersons for the 2023 presidential campaign.

This was made known via a statement issued on Thursday by Atiku’s Media Adviser, Paul Ibe.

Ibe stated that the appointment was with immediate effect.

Ologbondiyan joins other spokespersons earlier appointed by the former Vice President to garner support ahead of the 2023 general election.

Ologbondiyan was former PDP National Publicity Secretary between December 2017 and December 2021.

He was the Director of Media and Publicity, PDP Presidential Campaign Council for the 2019 presidential election, and now member of National Executive Committee (NEC) of the main opposition party.

He was the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to former Senate President, David Mark, between 2007 and 2015.
