The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has appointed former Senate Presidents, Bukola Saraki and Pius Anyim, as Special Envoy and Special Adviser, respectively.
Atiku, a former Vice President, also appointed former governor of Kano State, Sen. Ibrahim Shekarau; ex-governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola; and Sen. Ehigie Uzamere as his Special Advisers ahead of the 2023 general election.
The PDP presidential candidate also appointed ex-PDP national chairman, Uche Secondus, as Technical Adviser.
Atiku, who said the appointments were with immediate effect, urged the appointees to use their vast political experience in ensuring that the PDP presidential campaign records success in the 2023 election.
