BBNaija fame can make life harder — Kess

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Kess has opened up about the challenges contestants may face after leaving the reality TV show, saying life can become more complicated regardless of whether they emerge as winners.

Kess made the remark while reacting to a recent emotional disclosure by fellow ex-housemate Danboskid, whose real name is Daniel Olatunji.

According to Kess, the experience of appearing on the popular reality show can change the circumstances contestants return to after the cameras stop rolling.

“Big Brother makes your life harder.

“Winner or not, the moment you leave that house, you’re dealing with a version of life that is far more complicated than the one you left behind,” he said.

His comments followed Danboskid’s decision to publicly discuss his personal struggles and current living conditions.

Danboskid said he had grown tired of trying to maintain an image that others had created for him and decided to be open about the difficulties he was experiencing as he sought to rebuild his life.

The reality star clarified that his disclosure was not an appeal for financial assistance or sympathy.

Instead, he said he would welcome sincere advice and support from people willing to help him navigate his current situation.

Kess’s comments have since drawn attention to the often overlooked difficulties contestants face after gaining public attention through reality television, particularly the pressure to sustain an image and lifestyle associated with fame.
