Blessing CEO clears air on cancer diagnosis, dismisses stage 4 claims

Controversial relationship influencer and self-styled relationship expert, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has denied claims that she is battling stage 4 cancer, describing the widely circulated report as a product of miscommunication.

Speaking in an interview on the online programme, Young and Healthy Bros, Egungun, Blessing said she is yet to determine the exact stage of her condition, as she still awaits a consultation with her oncologist for further examination.

“I don’t have stage 4 cancer. That was a miscommunication,” she said. “I just received my biopsy results. Initially, the lump was thought to be non-cancerous, but later tests revealed it was cancerous.

“I haven’t started chemotherapy yet, and I’m still awaiting further tests to determine the exact stage.”

The social media personality also moved to correct what she described as exaggerated figures surrounding a fundraising effort launched to support her treatment, clarifying that the amount donated was far below what was being speculated online.

“The money raised is not hundreds of millions as some people think. It’s just 13 million naira,” she stated.

Responding to public pressure to release her medical records, Blessing was unapologetic, insisting her health remained a personal matter.

“I will not post my results online because it’s personal, and I don’t owe anyone an apology. I’m just trying to communicate what the doctors have told me,” she said.

She added that her immediate focus is on weighing her treatment options and making well-informed medical decisions.

“I just want to be sure about what I am doing. I’m not a doctor; I’m only sharing the updates I receive from them,” she said.
