One of the petitions against the election of President-elect, Bola Tinubu, has been withdrawn.
The Action People’s Party (APP) withdrew its petition on Wednesday, May 10, at the ongoing sitting of the Presidential Election Petition Court in Abuja.
The Action Alliance (AA) had earlier on Monday withdrew its petition against Tinubu.
Counsel for APP, Obed Agu, withdrew the petition during Wednesday’s proceedings.

The presiding judge, Justice Tsammani, dismissed the suit.
Tinubu’s lead counsel, Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN) commended the petitioners for seeing the light and doing the needful.
Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), counsel for the APC, said his team had already filed a defense. “But it’s good the petitioners are seeing the light. For the others, still pressing on, this is the last chance. The flight is about to take off,” Fagbemi told the court.
