A Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court has ordered the Department of State Services (DSS) to charge the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, to court within one week or release him on bail.
The presiding judge, Justice Hamza Muazu, gave the order in his ruling in a fundamental human rights suit filed by Emefiele on Thursday, July 13, 2023.
It would be recalled that Emefiele was arrested by the DSS operatives on June 10, 2023, following his suspension by President Bola Tinubu.
