Health Workers under the aegis of the Joint Health Workers’ Union have threatened to embark on indefinite strike over the failure of the Federal Government to meet their demands.
The health workers, who protested in Abuja on Wednesday, May 24, said they would commence the industrial action from midnight if the government fails to meet their demands.
They are demanding the payment of hazard allowance, an adjustment in the Consolidated Health Salary Structure as done with Consolidated Medical Salary Structure, and an end to the discrimination in the health industry, among others.
