President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Mr Adepoju Sunday as the new Postmaster General/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST).
This was contained in a statement issued by Uwa Suleiman, the spokesperson of the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, on Wednesday.
“The appointment followed the recommendations made by Pantami,” Suleiman stated, adding that Sunday was appointed for an initial term of five years.
She noted that the appointment of the new NIPOST Postmaster General was with immediate effect.
Sunday is a professional accountant and a former member of the House of Representatives who represented Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency of Oyo state.
