Buhari redeploys minister

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the re-deployment of Mohammed H. Abdullahi as the new Minister of Environment with immediate effect.

Until his appointment, Abdullahi was the Minister of State for Science, Technology and Innovation.

The latest development was made known via a statement issued on Wednesday and made available to The Star by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.

The statement was titled, ‘Re-deployment of Mohammed H. Abdullahi’.

“The President hopes that he would bring his wealth of experience to bear on his new assignment for the growth of the country,” the statement partly read.
