Noor Buhari, daughter of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, has expressed deep sorrow over her father’s passing in a heartfelt tribute shared on social media.
The former Nigerian leader died on July 13 at the age of 82 in a clinic in London.
Taking to her Instagram story on Monday, July 14, Noor poured out her grief, lamenting the loss of precious moments and plans she had hoped to share with her father.
“Daddy, I’m heartbroken that we won’t get to share the moments and experiences I had planned for us,” she wrote.
She concluded her tribute with a prayer: “I pray that you’re granted the highest place in Jannah, and your soul rests in eternal peace.”
Her emotional message has drawn sympathy from many Nigerians, as tributes continue to pour in for the late statesman.
