Tunde Sabi’u, the Personal Assistant and nephew of President Muhammadu Buhari, has commenced moving his personal belongings out of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

It was gathered that Sabi’u, who is a powerful aide of President Buhari, began taking some of his things out of the Aso Rock in the early hours of Tuesday, May 16.

It was further learned that the President’s aide was relocating to London, the United Kingdom.

Sabi’u is reported to be an influential aide that is feared and courted by many people, especially politicians and top government officials because of his unfettered access to President Buhari.

He is known to be courted particularly by powerful businessmen and women, senior government officials, and top politicians in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for favours.

While Sabi’u is known to have influenced many appointments and special privileges for people across the country, there had been reported altercations and bad blood between him and First Lady, Aisha Buhari.

Aisha, according to sources, does not get along with Sabi’u because of his overbearing attitude and how he peddles influence in the Aso Rock which is often at cross purposes with interest of the First Lady.

Part of Sabi’u’s many sins against Aisha is his reported alignment with the late Chief Of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, and the powerful octogenarian nephew of the President, Mamman Daura, who has been accused of being the head of Aso Rock cabal in constant battle with the First Lady.

However, Aisha had disclosed that her husband and other family members had moved into the Glass House at the Presidential Villa ahead of the inauguration of the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, on May 29.

Aisha, who recently made the disclosure via a video shared on her official Instagram page after taking the incoming First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, around the State House, urged succeeding governments to maintain the practice of having the outgoing President and their family members to reside in the Glass House till transitions are over.
