Social media personality Carter Efe defeated street-hop singer Habeeb Badmus, popularly known as Portable, in a three-round celebrity boxing contest on Friday night.
The bout, part of the “Chaos in the Ring 4” spectacle held at Balmoral Hall inside the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos, ended with a unanimous decision in favour of Efe.
All three judges returned identical scorecards of 30-27, handing the comedian a clear victory.
Portable, known for his energetic persona and previous wins over Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington, had entered the fight brimming with confidence, aiming to secure a third title.
He had boasted ahead of the match that his past victories over bigger opponents would continue against Efe.

However, Efe proved tactically superior inside the ring. After withstanding an aggressive start marked by Portable’s unorthodox swings, the comedian settled into the contest, using his reach advantage to land precise counterpunches.
As the fight progressed, Efe’s accuracy and composure became more evident. While Portable maintained his high-energy approach, it yielded little impact against Efe’s measured combinations and defensive discipline.
By the final round, Efe remained in control, consistently landing cleaner shots before the bell.
The decisive victory not only ended Portable’s unbeaten run in celebrity boxing but also crowned Efe as the new champion of the entertainment-driven sport.
