Canadian music icon Celine Dion delivered a surprise performance at the opening of Paris Fashion Week on Monday, September 28, 2026, thrilling fans as she performed her hit song “I’m Alive” beneath the Eiffel Tower.
Dion made an unexpected appearance at L’Oréal’s annual fashion show, closing the event in a sleek black gown to loud applause from the audience.
The Grammy-winning singer, smiling as she walked onto the runway with her hair flowing, performed her 2002 hit before being joined by fellow L’Oréal ambassadors, including Viola Davis, Simone Ashley, Aja Naomi King, and Eva Longoria.

The surprise performance comes as the Canadian star continues her highly anticipated return to live performances with a 26-show residency in Paris. 16 concerts are scheduled for September and October, while another 10 are planned for May 2027.
Paris Fashion Week, which showcases women’s Spring/Summer collections, will run until October 6, with major fashion houses including Dior, Tom Ford, Schiaparelli, and Givenchy expected to unveil their latest collections.
With her return to the spotlight gathering momentum, Dion is also expected to make appearances at some of the season’s biggest fashion events in the French capital.
