Premier League side Chelsea have made an enquiry about signing Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo in January.
Chelsea are looking at the conditions of a possible deal and are one of many interested clubs.
Manchester United, Manchester City, and Liverpool are the other interested clubs, with Semenyo having a £65 million release clause in his contract which becomes active on January 1.
United and City are still ahead of other clubs and remain neck-and-neck for his signature, according to Sky Sports.
United manager Ruben Amorim described Semenyo as a “special player” ahead of the game against Bournemouth, in which the Ghana international scored in a 4-4 draw.
Liverpool striker Isak suffers broken leg
Liverpool remain interested and are understood to be considering their options in the wake of Alexander Isak’s injury.
Semenyo, 25, has scored eight Premier League goals this season, including in Bournemouth’s last two games.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, in a post on X on Tuesday, said the Ghana international will pick his next club soon with four teams now keen and in talks with the player’s camp.
“Personally, I do not want to lose him… but the market’s unpredictability means anything can happen,” Romano quoted Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola as saying.
