Chevron chiefs meet Tinubu, reiterate commitment to partnership

A Chevron team led by the President of Chevron International Exploration and Production, Clay Neff, and the Chairman/Managing Director of Chevron Nigeria Mid-Africa Business Unit, Rick Kennedy, have met with President Bola Tinubu on the sidelines of the recently concluded United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York, the United States.

The Chevron officials met with Tinubu and other government officials, including the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Heineken Lokpobiri, where issues of mutual business interests were discussed.

According to a statement issued by the company’s General Manager, Policy Government and Public Affairs, Esimaje Brikinn, on Thursday, October 12, 2023, the meetings presented opportunities for Chevron to reiterate its dedication to sustaining and growing its business in Nigeria, as well as strengthening partnerships to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations in the country.
