An Abuja High Court sitting in Maitama has dissolved the marriage of popular Nigerian singer and a member of the singing duo P-Square, Paul Okoye, well known as Rudeboy, to Anita.
Anita had dragged her estranged husband to court over alleged infidelity.
The Star recalls that Anita, in August 2021, filed a petition for divorce.
The petition for a divorce filed by the singer’s wife cited irreconcilable differences as the basis of the irretrievable breakdown of the eight-year-old marriage.
In the divorce petition signed by her lawyer, Ojonimi Akpe and Okutepa J.S, Anita accused Rudeboy of having an affair with their housemaid, identified simply as Florence.

She added that the singer backed out of an undertaking by failing to give her company, TannkCo, a space in the mall to which she contributed N10m for the construction of the mall.
Anita, however, decided to withdraw the claims and opted to settle following alleged inability to prove all of the claims in her petition to the court.
The court, in ruling of the case, granted joint custody of the children to the parties on October 20, 2022.
It would be recalled that RudeBoy got married to Anita on March 22, 2014, after over 10 years of courtship.
Their union produced three children; Andre, and the twins, Nathan and Nadia.
