Davido’s ‘Timeless’ album earns silver certification in UK

Nigerian music superstar Davido has achieved another major milestone as his fourth studio album, Timeless, has been certified Silver in the United Kingdom after selling over 100,000 units.

The certification, confirmed by music chart authority Chart Data, marks a significant achievement for Davido in one of the world’s most competitive music markets.

The album, which was released on March 31, 2023, captured widespread attention upon arrival, breaking multiple streaming records on platforms such as Spotify Nigeria, Audiomack, Boomplay, and YouTube within its first day and week.

Timeless features 17 tracks and includes collaborations with notable artists like Asake, Skepta, Dexta Daps, Fave, Cavemen, and Angelique Kidjo.

The project received critical acclaim and went on to earn Davido a Grammy nomination for Best Global Album and a Headies nod for Song of the Year.

One of the standout singles, Unavailable, also achieved Silver certification in the UK and received a Grammy nomination for Best African Song Performance.

Another track from the album, Feel, earned a nomination for Best Global Song Performance, further cementing Davido’s global appeal.

Following the success of Timeless, Davido released his fifth album, 5ive, in April 2025.

The new 17-track project has already seen commercial success, led by the hit single With You featuring Omah Lay, which has emerged as one of the biggest songs of the year.

Now a five-time Grammy nominee, Davido is currently on his 5ive tour, performing across North America and Europe, thrilling fans with tracks from his latest album as well as timeless classics from his discography.
