The operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have apprehended three dispatch riders for allegedly distributing illicit drugs across Abuja, the nation’s capital.
NDLEA spokesman Femi Babafemi, who disclosed this via a statement issued on Sunday, August 3, 2025, identified the dispatch riders as Sabo Sule, 24; 28-year-old Samuel Nnamdi; and Idris Jibrin, 28.
Babafemi said 149.8 grams of Canadian Loud, a strong strain of cannabis, were recovered from the dispatch riders.
He noted that two other suspects, 25-year-old Aliyu Abubakar and 30-year-old Adekunle Agbabiaka, were arrested along the Abaji-Gwagwalada expressway with 91.1kg of skunk, a strain of cannabis, on Saturday, August 2.
