Doris Ogala displays $10,000, alleges payment came from Pastor Chris Okafor

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has shared a video on social media showing bundles of cash she claims were given to her by popular cleric Pastor Chris Okafor.

Ogala, who has recently been in the news over her dispute with the pastor, said the money — which she described as $10,000 — was sent to her after private conversations between them.

The actress had earlier alleged that she walked out of her previous marriage because of issues connected to the clergyman.

She has also filed a ₦1 billion lawsuit against Pastor Okafor, accusing him of breaking a promise to marry her and causing emotional and reputational damage, in addition to allegedly sharing private photos without consent.

In her latest post, Ogala claimed the pastor urged her to state publicly that other pastors had hired her to speak against him. She said she accepted the money to prove that her account of events was genuine and shared screenshots of a chat she said was between them.

Her claims surfaced shortly after social media commentator VeryDarkMan published an audio recording said to feature Okafor’s daughter, identified as Precious, who spoke about tensions within the family while living in his home.

In the recording, she alleged she was treated differently from her siblings and made further serious accusations about past conduct involving her mother — all of which remain unproven and have stirred significant online debate.

As of the time of reporting, Pastor Chris Okafor has not publicly responded to the new allegations.
