ECWA President lauds Uba Sani on security, infrastructure, good governance

Governor Uba Sani’s leadership has demonstrated commitment to good governance and inclusivity, infrastructural and human capital development, as well as proactiveness in handling security matters in Kaduna State.

The governor’s application of a non-kinetic approach to solving security as well his administration’s collaboration with the Nigerian Army are a testament to your unwavering dedication to providing a happy and prosperous society.

The President of ECWA Worldwide, Rev Dr  Ayuba Malam Job Bagat, who made this known during a courtesy visit to Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, further said that all these actions have significantly impacted the lives of the people.

“The improved security situation in the state has particularly paved the way for a more conducive environment for businesses to thrive. People now have the confidence to go about their legitimate businesses, especially in the urban areas, without any fear.

“I believe that once you commit to sustaining this tempo, peace will permeate all nooks and crannies of the state in the near shortest possible time,” the ECWA President maintained.

According to Rev Bagat, the governor’s inclusive leadership style and how he  embraced diversity, “make everyone feels valued, comfortable, and welcomed in the state. Generally speaking, all citizens of Kaduna State now have a sense of belonging under your administration.”

“The ECWA family International deeply appreciates your dedication to the welfare of the people of Kaduna State and your vision for a prosperous and equitable society.

“Indeed, you are an activist who fights for the masses under you and for the enthronement of true democratic ideals in contemporary society. I am glad to commend you for remaining within the terms of the oath you took upon your assumption of office, to be just and fair to all,” he added.

The ECWA President said that the governor has “demonstrated equity through the awards of projects as well as in the appointments you have so far made into key government positions in the state.”

“By this, you have given succour to other parts of the state such as the people of southern Kaduna who were almost totally neglected in the immediate past regimes,” he further said.

Rev Bagat said that he is convinced that God has strategically placed Governor Uba Sani “in this powerful position so as for you to exert influence and thereby transform the state on the principles of love.”

Responding, Governor Uba Sani thanked the ECWA President and members of his entourage for the visit, reiterating that his administration’s commitment to be fair, just and equitable to all people of Kaduna State, irrespective of their  ethnicity or religious beliefs.

The governor pointed out this has been focus of his administration in the siting of projects, since he assumed office on May 29, 2023, adding that his government will not shirk in that responsibility.

He further noted that importance of peaceful coexistence because development can only be achieved in an atmosphere of peace.
