The management of Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State, says the institution will resume on Saturday, November 5 for the second semester of the 2021/2022 academic session.
This was contained in an internal memo issued by the Establishment Affairs Officer of the Polytechnic, Elkanah Aruwajoye, a copy of which was made available to newsmen by the institution spokesperson, Sola Lawal, on Friday.
Aruwajoye noted that the polytechnic’s academic board, at its meeting held on Thursday, considered and approved the academic calendar for the new semester.
He said the new semester would commence on Saturday, adding that academic activities would start on Monday, November 7.

Aruwajoye, however, urged all returning students to adhere strictly to the polytechnic’s dress code and be a good ambassador of the institution.
“On behalf of the chairman and members of the academic board, I wish to welcome returning students to a crisis-free semester.
“The foregoing is for the information and compliance of members of staff, parents, and guardians as well as returning students of the polytechnic,” he stated.
