The operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested no fewer than 26 suspected internet fraudsters in Abuja.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, on Friday, February 16, 2024.
Oyewale noted that the suspected internet fraudsters were arrested in the Kurudu, Jahi, Kubwa, and Gwarimpa areas of Abuja following credible information on their suspected involvement in internet-related offences.

He disclosed that the suspects were apprehended on Tuesday, February 13.
He listed the items recovered from the suspects to include a Toyota Tacoma, a CLS Mercedes 450, three Lexus cars, 40 phones, and seven laptops.
The EFCC spokesman added that the suspected internet fraudsters would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
