The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 32 individuals suspected of engaging in internet fraud in Bauchi State.
According to a statement from the Gombe Zonal Directorate, the suspects were apprehended on Friday, July 25, 2025, during coordinated operations in the Sabon Kaura and Gwalameji areas of Bauchi, following credible intelligence linking them to cybercrime activities.
Recovered items include 15 iPhones, nine Samsung phones, three Redmi phones, one Infinix phone, two iPads, eight laptops, one Peugeot 406 vehicle, two PlayStation 4 consoles, one PlayStation 5, four Neonx Auto bikes, a Maxi E50KWH generator, and one pistol.
The EFCC said the suspects will be charged to court once investigations are concluded.
