EFCC arrests suspected currency speculator in Abuja

The operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested a suspected currency speculator, Mustapha Muhammed, popularly known as Muaspaha Naira, in Abuja.

According to a statement published on the EFCC’s website, the suspect was arrested by the operative of the anti-graft agency last Saturday at Wuse Zone 4, the hub of parallel market operations in the nation’s capital.

The EFCC stated that the suspect has made a useful statement, adding that investigation continues.
