EFCC quizzes Obi Cubana

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has quizzed popular socialite, Obinna Iyiegbu, known as Obi Cubana.

The Star learnt from sources that Obi Cubana was quizzed at the EFCC headquarters at Jabi, Abuja on Monday.

Operatives of the anti-graft agency reportedly questioned the businessman on allegations of tax fraud and money laundering.

It is not clear if the businessman was detained, but as at 10p.m. Obi Cubana was still in custody.

Spokesman for the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, could not be reached for comment.
