Ex-Imo First Lady Chioma Ohakim appointed ambassador to Poland

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Chioma Priscilla Ohakim, wife of former Imo State governor Ikedi Ohakim, as Nigeria’s ambassador to Poland.

The appointment was contained in a State House statement announcing the postings of ambassadors-designate to various countries.

Ohakim, a lawyer, was among the non-career diplomatic nominees earlier confirmed by the Senate in December.

She will head Nigeria’s diplomatic mission in Warsaw once the Polish government grants agrément in line with diplomatic procedures.
