The Minister of Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, has ruled out reports on his plans to contest for president in the 2023 general election.
Fashola has been rumoured to be nursing presidential ambition ahead of the next year polls.
Dismissing the reports, the minister said his 2023 ambition is to become the president of his home.
Fashola’s position was disclosed via a tweet shared on the verified Twitter handle of Tolu Ogunlesi, the Special Assistant on Digital and New Media to President Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday.
Ogunlesi said the former governor of Lagos State debunked his widely-circulated 2023 presidential ambition while speaking to newsmen.
