Tinubu celebrates Mutfwang on birthday, praises his leadership

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang, on the occasion of his birthday on March 12.

In a statement issued on Thursday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President commended the governor for what he described as responsible leadership that has helped stabilise the state.

Tinubu noted that the administration of Governor Mutfwang is gradually restoring Plateau’s reputation as the “Home of Peace and Tourism.”

The President also acknowledged the governor’s achievements in security, rural infrastructure development, healthcare and education across the state.

He particularly praised Mutfwang’s efforts to revitalise the state’s economy through the establishment of agro-logistics hubs aimed at boosting agricultural productivity and economic growth.

Tinubu further commended the governor for promoting inclusive governance and fostering peaceful coexistence among residents of the state.

The President also lauded Mutfwang for inaugurating a 14-member State Advisory Committee on State Police, describing the move as proactive and strategic in strengthening the state’s security architecture.

According to the statement, the committee was constituted following the President’s directive to states across the federation to begin processes towards the establishment of state police.

Tinubu wished the Plateau governor good health and strength as he continues to lead the state.
