The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has said several ongoing infrastructure projects across Abuja are nearing completion and will soon be inaugurated.
Wike made the disclosure on Monday during an inspection tour of key projects in the capital, expressing satisfaction with both the quality and pace of work.
He noted that projects such as the Renewed Hope City road in Karsana, the Old Keffi Road, Dei-Dei road, and the Airport Road–Kuje Road corridor were at advanced stages, with some already completed and awaiting commissioning.
The minister commended contractors handling the projects, describing their delivery as commendable and in line with expectations.
He said the infrastructure drive reflects the commitment of President Bola Tinubu to improving connectivity and boosting economic activities through visible governance.
Wike also highlighted the City Gate project, describing it as a transformative development that would enhance the aesthetic appeal of Abuja, particularly at night.
