The family of late Nollywood star, Alex Ekubo, has announced that his burial rites will conclude on June 18, 2026.
Ekubo passed away on May 11 after a battle with cancer.
In an obituary statement shared via the actor’s Instagram page on Monday, the family urged the public to keep them in prayers, particularly his wife and loved ones, as they mourn his loss.
According to the funeral schedule, a service of songs will be held on June 10 at The Monarch Event Centre in Lekki, Lagos, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with attendees expected to wear white.
The wake-keep is slated for June 17 at the family residence in Aziukwukwa, Ujari Village, Arochukwu, Abia State.
The final funeral service and interment will take place on June 18 at Mary Slessor School in Arochukwu, after which the late actor will be laid to rest at his family home.
A reception will follow immediately at the same venue, with guests also expected to be dressed in white.
