Idris had been suspended indefinitely by the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed via a letter dated May 18, 2022.
The minister stated that the suspension was to allow for “proper and unhindered investigation” in line with public service rules.
The suspension came two days after Idris was arrested by the EFCC over an alleged N80 billion fraud.
