The Federal Government has announced the establishment of Nigeria House Davos ahead of the 56th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2026, scheduled to hold from January 19 to 23 in Davos, Switzerland.
The initiative marks Nigeria’s first official National House on the Davos Promenade and is aimed at showcasing the country’s economic reforms, investment opportunities, institutional capacity, and cultural identity to the global community.
According to a statement issued by the State House, Nigeria House Davos is designed as a strategic national platform to attract foreign direct investment (FDI), deepen international partnerships, and enhance Nigeria’s global economic positioning in line with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The project is being implemented under a Public–Private Partnership (PPP) arrangement involving key government ministries, including the Federal Ministries of Industry, Trade and Investment; Finance; and Foreign Affairs, alongside the private sector. Eviola & Co Integrated Services Ltd is serving as the Lead Coordinating and Executing Organisation, in consortium with Lex-Con Advisory Services Ltd and UFAM Services Nigeria Ltd, supported by international technical partners.
Nigeria House Davos will function as a sovereign engagement hub, hosting ministerial meetings, high-level roundtables, policy dialogues, investment sessions, cultural diplomacy events, and bilateral discussions throughout the WEF.
Its five-day programme will focus on critical sectors such as solid minerals and mining value chains, trade infrastructure and agriculture, climate investment, energy and environmental sustainability, digital trade and technology, and the creative economy and cultural exports.
The Presidency noted that leading nations and global corporations have long used national houses at Davos as tools of economic diplomacy and soft power, adding that Nigeria’s participation signals its readiness to engage global decision-makers directly and present its development narrative on its own terms.
The Federal Government has called on public institutions, private sector leaders, development finance institutions, and international partners to participate actively in Nigeria House Davos to ensure a unified and impactful debut on the global stage.
