A fire has gutted part of the old terminal of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in the Ikeja Area of Lagos State.
It was gathered that the fire outbreak, which caused panic among airport workers and passengers on Monday, February 23, 2026, affected a section of the terminal currently undergoing a multi-billion-naira renovation.
Thick smoke was seen rising from the building, while emergency responders moved quickly to contain the situation.
