Fire, on Thursday, gutted A A Rano filling station in the Bompai area of Kano State.
The fire outbreak destroyed the station and a tricycle caught up in the incident.
While the cause of the inferno had yet to be ascertained as of press time, some officers of the Kano State Fire Service were at the scene of the incident trying to put off the fire.

Efforts to reach the Kano Fire Service spokesperson, Saminu Abdullahi, proved abortive as calls to his line rang out.
