The Board of Directors of Heritage Bank has announced the appointment of Akinola George-Taylor as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the bank.
This was contained in a statement issued on Sunday, April 16, by the Group Head, Corporate Communications of Heritage Bank, Ozena Utulu.
Utulu noted that George-Taylor’s appointment received a letter of no objection from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on March 31, 2023.

George-Taylor, who joined Heritage Bank as Acting Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer on September 12, 2022, will succeed Ifie Sekibo, as MD/CEO following the CBN’s approval.
“He will oversee Heritage Bank’s operations across Nigeria and work to implement the lender’s next phase of transformation,” Utulu said.
