Telecommunications company, Globacom, has rewarded several of its subscribers with cash prizes in the ongoing Glo Jolly Product Cash Awards, bringing excitement to winners across the country.
At simultaneous presentation ceremonies held last Friday in various cities, lucky customers received prizes in different categories, including Jolly Life Lottery, Jolly Wheel, Jolly Win, and Jolly Trivia.
The star prize of ₦1 million went to 69-year-old technician, Sunday Efenure, from Edo State, who emerged winner in the Jolly Wheel category.
Overwhelmed with joy, Efenure admitted that he initially doubted the authenticity of the win.
“With the rate of scams in the country, I didn’t believe it at first. My wife encouraged me, and I even sent my son to verify before I attended. I thank Glo for this life-changing gift,” he said.
Other winners include Esther Clifford from Abuja, who won ₦500,000 in the Jolly Win segment, and Ibadan-based Taiwo Oni, 39, who also took home ₦500,000 in the Jolly Life category.
His twin brother, Kehinde, celebrated in excitement, joking in pidgin: “E chop am o!” and immediately bought a Glo SIM card to try his luck in future games.
In Warri, Delta State, Christopher Onajobhe received ₦200,000 in the Jolly Win category, while Denem Usman Maji from Nasarawa, Godwin Udanna from Onitsha, Anambra State, and Ijeoma Anogwa from Enugu each won between ₦100,000 and ₦200,000 in the Jolly Wheel draws.
Presenting the cheques to the winners in Lagos, Globacom’s Head of Value Added Services, Mojeed Aluko, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to rewarding loyal customers. He congratulated the beneficiaries and urged other subscribers to participate by dialling *13199# to join the promos.
“The Jolly games are an avenue for subscribers to win cash prizes while enjoying quality entertainment,” he said.
Tolulope Aminu, representing Tetragrammaton International, Globacom’s partner on the project, also commended the winners and encouraged Glo customers nationwide to keep playing and sharing the opportunity with others.
Globacom said the Jolly Product Cash Awards is part of its broader effort to empower subscribers while promoting fun, excitement, and economic empowerment across Nigeria.
