Gov Eno approves land, housing, ₦100m studio fund for Chris Vic

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has unveiled a comprehensive support package for inspirational singer Chris Vic, announcing a land allocation, a new home, a ₦100 million grant, and a monthly allowance.

Governor Eno said he has directed the Commissioner for Lands to immediately allocate a plot of land in Uyo to Chris Vic, adding that he will sign the Certificate of Occupancy next week.

He further disclosed that the state government will build a fully furnished four-bedroom flat for the artiste.

Beyond the land and housing support, Governor Eno pledged ₦100 million to enable Chris Vic establish a world-class music studio—an investment he emphasized is separate from the cost of the land and the house.

He also announced a monthly allowance of ₦1 million for the singer for as long as he remains in office.

Governor Eno described Chris Vic’s life and music as a reminder that “even in difficult moments, God is still good,” commending him for demonstrating resilience and gratitude.

He stressed that the gesture reflects his administration’s commitment to supporting persons with disabilities across the state.

“I want Chris Vic, and all persons with disabilities, to know that this government cares,” he said.

The announcement has drawn wide commendation, with many praising Governor Eno for his inclusive leadership and efforts to recognize talent and inspire hope.
