Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris, has urged political appointees in the state to focus on measures that would facilitate fulfilment of his campaign promises, promising to flush out any appointee who fails to add value to his government.
Idris said this at the oath-taking ceremony of his Chief of Staff, Secretary to the State Government (SSG), and Head of Service held at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi, the Kebbi State capital, on Monday, June 5.
The newly sworn-in political appointees included Attahiru Macido (Chief of Staff ), Yakubu Bala (SSG), and Safiyanu Garba-Bena (Head of Service).
Idris, in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ahmed Idris, urged them to start official engagement immediately, assuring that his administration would do justice to all manner of people.
The governor also promised to run an all-inclusive government that would give all a sense of belonging.
While insisting that their appointment was based on merit, Governor Idris assured that he would not relent in appointing credible personalities that would add value to the administration.
